Welcome to Friday Flea Market. This week my theme will focus on vintage and antique cookie tins. I do love them and have far too many LOL. Quite a few people seemed interested in the cookie tin that made it into the homemade fudge post a few weekends ago. I thought I would list a few vintage tins in my Etsy shop to see how they do. It does give me an excuse to buy more if they find new homes :)SOLD ~ an antique cookie or biscuit tin with Victorian scenes. It is 4.5 inches in diameter and 7.5 inches tall. It has a procelain knob at the top and gold trim along the sides. It does show signs of age, but is still very pretty.
Love those florals !
(and perhaps a few fudge crums)
SOLD ~ smaller tin (5.5 by 2 inch) is marked Made in France ~ Pretty florals Regal colors

Great tins! I just bought a bunch yesterday. They're in the staging area ready for photographing and logging for inventory/tax purposes. The unromantic side of all the vintage loveliness!
Beautiful tins! I bet it was hard to part with those!

I have a tin identical to the one you show that you sold recently; an 8-inch cookie tin from Holland. Do you know anything about it? I'm very curious to know how old it is. Thanks.
