Lilli Diamond Gown

Look what I found yesterday : ) during my treasure hunt at the local thrift stores!

A lovely vintage gown by designer Lilli Diamond ~ of California. I think it dates to the 1960s.

A silk sash with silk buttons . . .

A full chiffon shirt that swirls and billows. . . .

My daughter says she will grow !!! Fast : ).

Wow, that gown takes me back to my childhood in the 60s...it's beautiful!

Regarding your comment on my blog about painting the armoire. I've gotten so many requests in the past that I put together all my steps for painting furniture. You can find it if you scroll down on my sidebar. The only thing I have to update on there is that some primers do not contain stain sealers so if you have a lot of stain left in the wood after you strip it or sand it down you have to make sure you buy a primer that contains a sealer.
