So far so good . . .

Well . . . our new cat was keen to explore today . . . so what's a pet owner to do? "Do you want to meet the dog?" I asked her. I know you know there IS a dog. Likewise the dog knows there is a new cat. They most certainly know ~ even if they haven't met.

So into the cat crate Holly went. I put her up high so she had a good view and would still feel safe. Cider and I have been reviewing our obedience training for the last few days to make sure she has that sit/stay in good form. Can you see Holly peeking out the side of the cat crate?

I wish I could see Holly's face in this photo . . . .Wowza ~ what big ears you have!
What a good sit-stay, Cider.

Let's go back to playing with the 7 pounder for today. Much more relaxing.

Jersey seems to have found her inner youth. So far so good : )

Katen - just dropped in to wish you happy New Year, and ask how did the Manuka honey go on cider's leg? Just wondered how long it took.

Hope you're keeping warm up there!

That should have been Karen, of course.

Hi Katherine, Thank you for the comments and greetings :) Cider was given a clean bill of health in May, 2009 and has been fine ever since.

My daughter's cat passed away last March. Now that Cider has been well for 6 months we decided it was OK to get my daughter a new cat.

I actually made an entire blog about Cider's journey beating cancer and her success with Manuka honey. It is very detailed (maybe more than you want to know, lol) but it is out there in blogland for those pet owners that are going through the same experience. I will send you the link. Happy New Year to you as well!

~ Karen

Hi Karen...These last two posts are hilarious! I am sure it hasn't been easy to get the 3 muskateers to play nice...hopefully it won't take too long.

Your pics and captions are really cute.

Take care,
Hugs, Nancy

Oh isn't Cider just so tolerant of two very fine felines! LOL! Love Cider's ears. I'll bet they are soft as a little lamb's. Love your posts about the introduction process. It just makes me smile...

Blessings to you

Cider is such a good girl, as long as treats are included in the process LOL! I'm sure she and Holly will be fast friends - maybe :o)

You know, if only people can get along as animals do...I'm sure everything will work out just fine.
