Rain, Rain, Go Away !

What a weird July we are having here in southern Ontario. We have had rain just about every day this month . . . and when it didn't rain in the day it surely rained at night. It is hard to plan your day around that. Especially with kids.

My Boston Ivy is certainly happy and will be consuming my entire house soon. If I don't post again soon . . . . assume it won ! It has reached the roof line now. The shrubs are so large it looks like a tropical Rain Forest. I do cut them back frequently . . . . really I do. I am losing the battle though.

We even have fog most nights because there is so much moisture in the air. Little did I know I live in the tropics (without the heat, however).

I have been rather lazy this month with my postings and Etsy store updates. I will try to do better in August : ) Hope you are having more sun and better weather than we are.

Hi Karen...You have had a lot of rain this month. I was watching the Canadian Open and they had 5 inches in 4 days...yuck!!

Get out your rubber duckie and enjoy!

Hang in there...it could be snow!

Hi Karen,
Yes , this month has been a washout, literally, hasn't it! The only upside, is that I haven't had to haul the hose out every day, to water the garden I even had to dump water out of my planters yesterday, The earth could not hold any more water. Fingers crossed for August! LOL!

We have had weird weather here. late spring, wind, wind, wind with rain and lightning and now a little sun. lots of the flowers will not amount to anything,,,but I am going with what I got. I hope it stops raining for you. Take care.

Hey Karen,

I hope that you have some relief from the rain soon:). We've had a few thunder storms here in the evenings which are welcomed at this time of the year when the heat is bearing down on us (and our gardens). We went a couple of weeks here in the Lowcountry with no rain so a few showers are a welcome relief. Hang in there:).

Blessings,

Kim

Hi Karen,

Sorry that you have had so much rain.
Hopefully August will be better weather for you and your family.
I have the same problem with my garden. It is so overgrown and need to get out there and cut everything back.

Enjoy your weekend
Hugs
Carolyn

Bummers to have so much rain in summer. Have enjoyed visiting your blog space today and reading about your doll creations. They are lovely.

That sure looks like a lot of rain, but everything looks so lush and green! It's beautiful!
