Better than Yoga for Stretching

I must say staining a deck makes you stretch a lot ! It is too hard on the knees to kneel and you have to move too frequently to use a towel . . . so the stand, lean and stretch method is the fastest. I also had to paint the white trim on the covered part. Stretch up . . . Stretch down : ) Better than Yoga.

We have had so much rain lately (note the green grass) that this has been a two week project. It needed two coats but it is finally done. Thanks to my helper : )

My Nanny's birthday was yesterday. She would have been 95. The Lillies in my garden were transplanted from her flower garden. Still going strong, year after year : )

Hope you are having a great summer !

Karen it is beautiful, I am so sorry about those kids breaking your planters. My post today was about a friend of mine who just had a whole bunch of her stuff taken...One year I had flowers taken out of my planter, but no damage was done..It is just ridiculous. have a great summer, with that pool and deck you are ready to party.

Hi Karen,

Lovely work with the deck.
It is a hard job and back breaking isn't it.

Love it that you transplanted the lillies from your Grandmothers garden.

Enjoy your week

OMGoodness, that's your porch? I thought that first photo was the entrance to some small commercial building at first glance! It's so tidy and nice and pretty! Beautiful!

Hi Karen,

Oh, I would die for a pool! The summer weather here in Penna. has been rather cool, though. Your staining/painting job is beautiful! A very relaxing space, indeed. As far as the flower pot breaking incident, isn't that just awful what people do! Good boy, Cider.

Have a great week,
Kitty
P.S. - beautiful wedding gown!
