Strawberries Please

Well . . . it is the last day of February and ol'man winter is not letting up. It is -25 in Ottawa today and the wind chill makes it even colder. Thank goodness for California Strawberries and Pineapple from Hawaii ! A few neighbours and I are having a coffee and goodies to warm up : ).

Spring Fever

Lots of pretty embroidered runners, lace and vintage clothing for tomorrow. I have been busy taking photos and preparing listings for my ebay store. I should have about 50 new listings by tomorrow evening ~ February 26, 2008.

Sunshine

I recently purchased the bunny on the right. Her name is ~ Sunshine ~ and we can certainly use some of that in February, in Canada. I bought her from Wee Scone Bears. Thanks Diane! Hopefully she will arrive in a week or so.

Victorian Print ~ Girl and her Dog

What a sweet pair. I do love Victorian Prints, especially when children and their pets are involved. This print is called "Sympathy". I wonder what she did? It doesn't seem to matter to her loyal friend. Absolute devotion is a wonderful thing.

A Great Antique Cabinet!

I was thrilled to have won this old cabinet last weekend, at a local auction. As soon as I saw all those shelves I thought that is the cupboard for me ! Great for all my linens, teddy bear making supplies and tiny collectibles waiting to be posted on ebay.

It is nice and neat when the doors are closed . . . which is even better ! My ebay room (as I call it) is also a guest bedroom, so being able to keep things out of the way is important.

Lots of storage makes a girl happy !

Valentine Bear

My latest teddy bear creation is for Valentine's Day. He has lovely hand dyed mohair ~ midnight blue I call it. A dark blue that is almost black. He is hard to photograph but this pictures captures his cute face.
