Christmas Eve

Brown Bear Done

First Bear of five is complete. I am quite happy with his face. He looks like an old bear with lots of stories to tell. I distressed the mohair to make him look like an antique bear. He has nice old boot button eyes (thanks Deb!) and a worn looking nose. I will figure out the extras (collar, ribbon etc) over the holdays. For now he is greeting my guests with a holiday message ~ Merry Christmas.

Angel

I like to buy one new Christmas Decoration each year. I recently purchased this gorgeous angel on ebay and she arrived yesterday ~ just in time for the holidays.

Trail Blazers

A path is always a good idea. A nice run from one door to the other. Much better.

Still snowing . . .

That would be a five foot fence ~ beside the snow drift that has circled around our house. Do they make doggy snow shoes?

I can wait . . .

My dog is not impressed . . . . how long is she willing to wait though? The drifts are not as bad out the garage side of the house so maybe we will try that door instead.

Snow Day !

Well . . . I guess the weather man was right . . . big snow storm headed our way. There still is a house across the street, I think. No traveling today.

Five Bears To Be

Teddy Bear making has been on my to do list for a long time. I decided I might be faster at creating bears if I made several at a time . . . they look pretty good cut out. I will try and finish one a week (ha aha). I am starting with the large brown momma bear first . . . then I will do baby bear.
